My question is aimed at the people who are programming 5 axis Mazak mills, Integrex' etc.
I have programmed quite a few simple parts using Mazatrol for lathes, mills and Multi Task (Integrex). The parts are becoming more complicated and I seem to be finding the Mazatrol to be a little bit cumbersome compared to importing an existing model and working from that. Is this common amongst those of you who use mazatrol? Have you found that some of the parts just become too complicated to be readily programmed in Mazatrol? I also noticed at IMTS last fall that in the Mazak booth where they were showing off the latest and greatest.....they had used a cam package instead of Mazatrol......thoughts?:scratchchin:
