Hi Guys,
My floppy drive died on my PFH4800 with the 640M control and I understand Mazak has a USB emulator to replace it but it costs $513.
If it is anything like the PCMCIA network card I put in years ago I am guessing it is an off the shelf product that can be bought inexpensively. I bought that for $50 and Mazak wanted $900.
My hard drive died a few months ago and I need to install network drivers from floppy. I might be able to do that using the internal PCMCIA/Flash memory though.
Has anyone purchased the Mazak one and can identify who makes it or found their own alternative?
Anyway, I would like to have a USB on their without spending $513.
Thanks in advance,
Dan
