I am trying to stop a very long program at a stopping point and restart at the same position the next day.
To do this I normally write down my coordinates, insert a few spaces in the desired location while in program edit mode... then copy the header and paste it down where I created spaces.
Then I just change X Y & Z coordinates in the header to match the new location.
However... when you copy lines of an EIA program, and then search within the same program, the clipboard is wiped clean and you cannot paste what you wanted to paste. I have to mark the scroll bar with a piece of tape and copy the lines and scroll down forever without searching just to paste my header and everything involved in the program start.
Does anyone know a work-around to this? There HAS TO BE a way to copy-search- and paste within an EIA program.
Thanks
