Does anyone know why a tool call line with prestage, such as
T0404.1301 B8
will result in error 774 DESIGNATED TOOL NOT FOUND? Manual says: "This alarm indicates that the program-designated tool has reached its life". But it (tool 8) has not! This error occurs randomly if I try to prestage a turning tool; I have never had this error when prestaging milling tools. I have temporarily disabled the B-command for turning tools.
The control is 640MT Pro, for which it's very hard to get support these days.
