QT20 Lath Way cover seals - just brass or?

I'm in the middle of doing some additional cleanup on a QT20 I bought a while back and when I removed old way cover seals they were rubber and there was an additional cover/flap over them. I'm guessing this is aftermarket as new seals I have from mazak are all brass/machined items... So were there no rubber seals on the original setup?

Also anyone know of a good source for the seals along the main metal guards that but against the turret setup front and back?
