Mazatrol M Plus to 640m Controller Conversion

At the shop we have two 12/98 VTC-Bs (one 16 and one 20) and an 11/96 VTC-20C. The two newer machines both run on the 640m controllers, and the older on the M Plus. Is there any way to convert the older machine to run the 640m controller? Since we got the machines each has been dedicated to its own work. But now that we are doing much more work, we are looking to standardize the machines so we can run any program on any machine. Does anyone know if this is possible?
