Hello,
I'm trying to connect my new Mazak VCS 530 (Smart control) to a PC with a RS-232 cable to collect data from Renishaw probing. (I attended the Mazak Renishaw Probing & Macro Class last week in Florence KY)
The dealer gave me a recommended RS-232 pinout, but as you can see in the attached diagram, it shows two different pinout configurations for the DB9 connector.
One plug has the DB9F to pins 2,4,20,7 (on the 25 pin connector) and the other connects to pins 3,5,6,7.
Which one is correct?
Or, here is a crazy idea, do any companies sell a pre-made Mazak RS-232 cable?
