T2 Threading

Hello all!

I have a question about how to manipulate the control to do some ID threading, The problem I have is that it keeps wanting to crash my threading bar! I am cutting a 1/2-28 thread in 12L14 and I have 500 of these to do, and I know there has to be a way to do it. I am hoping that one of you have found that way!

I am setting the min diameter in the header to .318 (diameter of the drill)
I face the part, do the od turning, Then go in with my boring bar at the .318 diameter and get it out to .468 for my minor diameter. Thats when it gets the threading bar and when that operation finishes, It tries to crash the bar retracting in X.:cryin:

I have manipulated this before by doing all my boring operations and then changing the stock min diameter in the header to the minor of the threads, and then single processing the threading and cutoff. But with 500 parts and a barpuller, I really dont want to have to do that!

I have read a lot of the old posts and I am just confused at how to make Mazatrol not retract to that min stock diameter at the start and end of the threading process. Somebody Please Help!!

Thanks
Nick

Edited to add that I have adjusted the U34 parameter, I it was at 500 and I put it down to 50. Im not sure what that number correlates to, I just know when I decreased the value the retract between threads was less,
