Hello,
I have a Mazak SQT 10MS that is getting a 260 slideway lubrication alarm.
Normally we are on top of it and never let the lubrication get low enough to trigger the alarm. Well, today it got to low and the alarm went off. I can't do anything with the machine.
I filled the lubrication reservoir back up, stroked the pump a couple of times manually and no luck. The alarm still shows.
I pulled the pump/reservoir assembly out and looked at the. The filter screen is clean. When I manually pump, we seem to get plenty of oil out of the port of the pump.
I also hooked it back up to the machine with the electrical cover off. The pump mechanism is slowly pumping and about every 5 minutes strokes. It seems OK.
I am wondering if anyone has any insite? Might it be a bad pressure switch? The rails that I checked all seem to be lubed up. I don't want to pull the manifold if I don't have
to.
Any ideas? Pressure switch? How to check? Possible plugged?
Thanks much for any ideas.
Regards,
Mike
