Just bought a used '98 SQT-250MY and have a couple of questions regarding the electrical requirements.
The machine was built in Japan and came with a transformer that used 460V in and 230V out. Amps: 46/91. The previous/original owner had 460v and used the transformer set up. In addition to the main lead wires, the transformer also has several taps for the control voltage wires that are 100v. I have 208v and need to by-pass the transformer.
Questions:
1. Will the 100v control voltage wires will be compatible with our 120v?
2. Can the main breaker be anything less than the 91 amp listed on the transformer?
Any input much appreciated.
